The color and the etched design are both permanent features of these hand-poured, 100% recycled glass creations.
Starting out as discarded single-pane windows, these sturdy cups are are transformed into beautiful drinkware by the Aurora Glass foundry for us. We’re happy to support their non-profit organization that helps low-income and homeless people in Oregon.
This is one of the most exciting press features we’ve had so far, and I still haven’t seen the tv spot! The lovely HGTV folks are supposed to be sending me a dvd of the episode, but I don’t know if it’ll ever get to me.
The HGTV cable channel ran a special holiday episode featuring handmade gift ideas from Etsy.com. Our mustache rocks glasses were lucky enough to appear on the show, which aired throughout Nov. and Dec., and in the HGTV shop. As soon as I can find some footage from the show, I’ll post it here!
